    The tower opened on September 8th, 1992. Mt. Odu is where Han River and Imjin River meet, meaning that it has always been a strategic military point, indeed there are the remains of a fortress founded in the Goryeo Dynasty on the site. The Odusan Unification Tower is a 6-story stone building on the mountain peak, having 5 floors above and one under ground level. Its circular observation room is located in 140m above sea level and from here, through its north-facing window, visitors can observe Mt Songak in Gaeseong, North Korea and North Korean people farming.

    Mt. Gamak is one of the five peaks of Gyeonggi-do. Its name originated from the rays of black and blue light emitted from between its rocks, thus: navy blue (gam) rocky mountain (aksan). This suspension bridge is located at the starting point of the mountain trail and connects the Seolmari Valley that was cut off by the road. The bridge is 150m long and is a tower-less mountain suspension bridge constructed to harmonize with its environs.

    Mt. Simhaksan (194m above sea level) is located along Jayu-ro and has a hiking trail that takes 1 to 2 hours. Hikers can enjoy forest bathing while looking out over a stretch of Jayu-ro, the Han River, Gimpo, and the Gwansan Peninsula. The sunset over the West Sea seen from the top of the mountain is truly exquisite.

    The Name Soulone means ‘A hill full of laughter’ and this a healing bunjae (bonsai) park which is both a place to enjoy nature and somewhere to achieve peace of mind. This garden of opulent trees, landscaped with amazingly beautiful rocks, was laid out by the founder of Soulone (CEO Lee Beom Wook) and an horticulture enthusiast, after 20 years of collecting bunjae, rare trees and plants. The landscaping rocks, arranged harmoniously with the bunjae and the trees, are all in their natural shapes. The Sansugyeongseok (landscape suseok/suseki) that captures the mountains and river through its textures, hosuseok (lake stone) that captures the scenery of the lake, etc. are all nature’s artworks: the product of rain, wind and water and are beyond imitation.
